Help Us Meet a $7,500 Match for Swahili and Spanish

Around the world, millions of children still don’t have access to biblical resources in a language they fully understand. Even where second languages are taught, fluency often comes later—leaving a gap during the years when truth matters most. That’s the gap Songs for Saplings exists to fill.
This past year, Questions with Answers Vol. 1 was released in Swahili, making Scripture set to music accessible to more than 70 million people. It’s a meaningful step forward—but there’s more to be done.
Recently, a supporting church and a generous donor teamed up to offer a $7,500 matching gift to help move this work forward. These funds will help finish the next Swahili volume and continue progress on the Spanish translation of Volume 2. Both projects are already underway, and these funds will be used to see them through.

A lot of our recording in Kenya was done in “blanket forts” built onsite with lumber and thick blankets to block out sound.
At the heart of this work is something simple: helping people understand and remember God’s Word in a way that is clear, personal, and lasting. When Scripture is heard in a heart language, it connects. And when it’s set to music, it stays.
That’s what we’ve seen in English, French, and Ukrainian—and what we’re now beginning to see in Swahili and Spanish.
If you’ve never given, this is a meaningful time to step in. Your gift will go twice as far through this match and help move these projects forward in a real way.
If you’ve supported this work before, thank you. Your generosity has made this possible. If you’d consider joining again—through giving, sharing, or prayer—we’d be grateful.
With gratitude,
James and Dana
