Mourning with those who mourn.
Our dear friends Doug and Masha Shepherd have been doing on the ground ministry in Ukraine for several years, building up church planting networks and serving the people of Ukraine. They were an integral part of our Ukrainian translation project, and are significant partners in our own Kingdom work.
Now Doug and Masha find themselves separated by the Polish border, but working together to help the vulnerable get out of Lviv and into a place of safety.
Would you join us in praying for them and supporting them in this time of great need?
You can join Doug as he provides updates about the situation in Lviv and greater Ukraine here. And you can learn more about the stories of hope in the midst of atrocity here, as well as learn how to get involved and give support to so many war-torn refugees here.
This is an important and devastating moment, but it is not one that has caught our King Jesus unawares. We remain so grateful for the sacrificial work of pastors and leaders like the Shepherds who are risking their own comfort and safety to provide hope and care to people in the midst of great chaos and distress.
Pray with us, and may each of us do all we can to support our brothers and sisters in their time of need.
